Part I

In three minutes, she'd be eighteen years old. That magic number that she'd said, once upon a time, would be the start of a new life for them. When they wouldn't have to hide, when it wouldn't matter what anyone said, she'd be a legal adult and everyone could take their opinions and go fuck themselves with them.

He grinned, remembering. He shouldn't be allowed to remember, he wasn't worthy enough for one thing. But then the pain of losing it overcame him and, holding back tears, he thought maybe he did deserve this.

It started the night Buffy came to his crypt and told him it was over. But it wasn't, how could it be, it had barely gotten started. He gone to her house and stood underneath his tree and waited for her to return, determined to talk some sense into her.

But it wasn't Buffy who came home.

I'm healthy, so why is my sex drive nil?

My B12, which is supposed to be over 1000, is 275. B12 comes from meat. Well, duh, no wonder its low. So... shots. Better than eating meat IMO.

My cholesterol has finally broken 100 - it's 103. No more serial killer status for me. :-( There goes my rep.

He told me to go home and have a steak slathered in garlic butter. LOL

Um, no.

That's all, just very excited. :)

Had yet another dream my mother was alive, but she was kind of zombie like, it was weird but fun. I cursed at her and she didn't bat an eye. So very *not* the real her.

Anyway, I think my metabolism is changing again. Speeding up. But I think my scale is wrong. Is it possible to lose 4 pounds in one day? I mean, I know this new med is making me move more, but geez. I have my period, would that contribute? Very weird.

Had 7 hours sleep - yeah. Me likey Ambien CR.



Just for my records:

As many of you know, I have a WIP called Not in Plain Sight, a Spike/Tara incest story. It was supposed to be much longer, but for personal reasons, I decided not to continue it. But I just thought of a way to wrap it up with one final chapter. It's still percolating, but hopefully I'll have another WiP in the bag soon. Weeeeee!!

First, apologies to Lisa Pet for the phone call. I was hyper; I couldn't sit still and couldn't stop talking. It wasn't until after I got home from taking my daughter to work that I realised I hadn't taken my meds this morning. It was a weird crazy morning. So, sorry; I'll try to do better next time.

sleep: 3 1/2 hours, even with an Ambien CR. but this was only the first night, hopefully it will improve when I'm home in my own bed.

Just got books 2 and 3 in the mail of this series. If you like 'slice of life' stories combined with a little mystery, I guarantee you'll love this series by Alexander McCall Smith. It's about a woman in Botswana who opens a detective agency when her father dies. It's fascinating to see how very different we live and yet, how very similar. It's charming, in a word.
